Veolia Jur company will submit an application to Regulator for revising  tariffs for water services

ArmInfo.Until August 10, 2020, Veolia Jur will submit an application to the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) to review tariffs for water services. On  June 8, Garegin Baghramyan, chairman of the RA Public Services  Regulatory Commission, announced this in an interview with reporters.

According to him, as a basis of applying to the PSRC, Veolia Jur  takes the basing tariff and adjustments depending on the electricity  tariff, inflation rate, as well as retail supply volumes in the water  supply sector.

In the latter case, actual volumes of water sales are taken into  account in comparison with the basic indicators fixed in the lease.  In turn, the PSRC, having received the application, will conduct its  monitoring, based on which an appropriate decision will be made. "But  I do not think that the tariff will change significantly," the PSRC  head assured.

Earlier, ArmInfo reported that the water tariff in 2020 will remain  at the level of 2019. An agreement was reached with Veolia Jur  (Veolia Jur, the daughter of the French Veolia Enviroment SA, Ed.  note) to maintain the basic water tariff at the level of 176.4 drams  for 2020-2021.
