ArmInfo. RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and Executive Director of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) Geof Giacomini signed a new grant agreement in absentia. As part of promoting specially protected natural areas, CNF will provide the Government of Armenia with 500 thousand euros. The grant will mainly be aimed at financing the Dilijan National Park, the Arpi Lake National Park, the Khosrov Forest State Reserve and the Zangezur Biosphere Complex.
The Caucasus Nature Fund has been providing assistance to specially protected natural areas for over 10 years in Armenia, co-financing current expenses. During this period, the Fund allocated more than 5 million euros to Armenia as assistance.
