
ArmInfo. The Support Armenia Fund and the Ministry of Economy of Armenia will cooperate to facilitate the restoration of micro-business. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, on July 10, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan held a video conversation with members of the initiative group of the Fund, during which he announced the readiness of the department to assist the targeted program to support small and medium enterprises as a result of the fundraising organized by the Fund.
The Minister welcomed the initiative of the group and assured that the team of the Ministry of Economy is ready to support the fund in the effective organization of work. The Minister presented the government's anti-crisis program policy, indicating the criteria by which the first target business groups were selected, as well as support tools.
The Minister noted that about 900 business entities received assistance under the third anti-crisis program aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses. He listed the regions most affected by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Khachatryan, full awareness is extremely important for making the right decisions, and the ministry will share the necessary information necessary for the effective distribution of support, the choice of groups and other issues. Tigran Khachatryan noted that further cooperation will be coordinated by Deputy Minister Naira Margaryan, who will provide the necessary information.
Olivia Zhamkochyan, a participant in the initiative, thanked Tigran Khachatryan for her willingness to support the Fund, presenting its activities and plans for the future. She noted that the initiative group intends to primarily support small family enterprises, especially in the tourism sector. She called for the mobilization of forces to achieve large volumes of support.
The meeting participants expressed satisfaction that Kim Kardashian also joined the fundraising awareness campaign.
