ArmInfo. In the H1 of 2020, the insurance sector of Armenia paid taxes for 1.2 billion drams, which is 23.9% higher than a year ago. Out of this amount, 339.6 million drams fell on income tax, with a y-o-y growth of 37.6%.
According to the RA State Revenue Committee, only RESO IC was not included in the list of 1000 largest taxpayers out of 6 functioning insurance companies in Armenia in the H1 of 2020. Rosgosstrakh Armenia IC headed the list of insurance companies in terms of tax payments, which took the 207th place (against 226th a year earlier), having paid 391.1 million drams to the state budget, of which 89.5 million drams - on income tax. INGO Armenia IC took the 248th place (against the 337th a year earlier), having replenished the state budget by 331.6 million drams, of which 88.8 million drams - for income tax. "Nairi Insurance" moved up to 376th place (from 995th a year earlier), having transferred 219.2 million drams to the state treasury, incl. 104.6 million drams - for income tax. "Armenia Insurance" took 641st place (whereas a year earlier it was not included in the list of large taxpayers), having paid 124.7 million drams, of which 54.5 million drams - in income tax. "Sil Insurance" went down to 893rd place (from the 719th year earlier), having paid 84 million drams, of which 2.1 million drams - on income tax.
