
ArmInfo.Armenia is among the most popular directions for money transfers via the Tele2 system. The Moscow Global MSK.ru business portal reports this.
According to the source, in the first half of 2020, Armenia accounted for 13.5% of all transfers. And the leader in this indicator is Tajikistan, which accounted for 57% of all transfers. Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan account for 10% each.
In general, in the first half of 2020, Tele2 recorded an increase in the turnover of money transfer services by 10% and loan repayments by 28%. In Russia, subscribers most often send money to Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk. In addition to specialized goods and services, the Tele2 retail network offers non-telecom services. Clients can repay loans, make transfers within Russia and abroad, as well as buy rail and air tickets. The turnover of the money transfer service in the first half of 2020 increased by 10% compared to the same period last year. The largest increase of 169% was recorded in the southern regions, as well as 146% in the Urals. The average transfer amount was RUB 9,000.
The Tele2 retail network in Russia includes more than 3,000 stores and modules. In the operator's communication salons, all the recommendations of specialists on the prevention of coronavirus are strictly followed: sellers are given disposable medical masks and hand sanitizers, and there are demarcation lines in stores that provide the necessary social distance.
