ArmInfo. In 2020, 82 subvention programs will be implemented in Ararat region, against 59 a year earlier. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian government on the official Facebook page.
According to the source, 3 billion drams will be allocated for the implementation of programs this year, while a year earlier the total cost of subvention programs in Ararat region amounted to 1.5 billion drams. As part of the work, it is planned to repair the communal roads of the region with a length of 25 km. It is also reported that the kindergarten of the Azatavan community, which was renovated in 2019 as part of a subvention program, will have a heating system, a children's playground and a courtyard. A kindergarten in September will be ready to accept children not only from Azatavan, but also from adjacent communities. In addition, the Lanjazat community will be fully gasified. Irrigation systems will be repaired in the same community. The source says that before independence, the community was famous for the cultivation of high quality grapes. Thanks to the repair work, it will be possible to irrigate 120 hectares of land that have been idle for many years.
The report also says that subvention programs for the next year are already being designed in the Ararat region, within the framework of which, among other things, it is envisaged to carry out an on-farm network, build a pumping station, etc.
