
ArmInfo.The "Armenian Future" charitable foundation in the Lusagyukh rural community (Aragatsotn region) is implementing a unique social project to create a model of a developed Armenian village with a modern architectural concept.
According to the press service of the RA Embassy in the Russian Federation, according to the project, within four years the settlement will turn into a modern eco-village and become one of the most popular tourist destinations.
The village of Lusagyukh is one of the oldest Armenian settlements, located at the foot of the Tsakhkunyats mountain range, at an altitude of 2015 meters above sea level.
Lusagyukh is attractive for its geographical location. Among the attractions are the Tukhmanuk (Verivank) church built in the 6th century, 1.5 km northeast of the village, as well as the Karmirvank (Mhervank) church complex built in the 5th century and now dilapidated.
