ArmInfo.On September 14 Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received the national hero of Armenia, Argentine businessman of Armenian descent, philanthropist Eduardo Eurnekian.
As reported by the press service of the RA government, welcoming the guest, the Prime Minister said: "Dear Mr. Eurnekian, I am glad to see you in Armenia. During this time, we also held a telephone conversation, discussed your possible investment programs in the Republic of Armenia. I am glad that even amid the coronavirus, you are equally enthusiastic about the possibilities of implementing investment programs in Armenia. Your previous projects are being successfully implemented, which we are, of course, happy about. I am convinced that this cooperation will bring more noticeable results to the Republic of Armenia>. In turn, Eduardo Eurnekian noted that he would consistently continue to invest in various programs at home, closely cooperating with the RA government.
The Prime Minister and the businessman discussed the programs implemented by the Armenian International Airports CJSC. In particular, issues related to the development, improvement of infrastructure, renovation and further operation of the Zvartnots airport in Yerevan and Shirak airport in Gyumri, transferred to the company on a concession, were touched upon. The interlocutors also exchanged views on other business programs planned by Eduardo Ernekian's companies in Armenia for the near future.
Nikol Pashinyan and Eduardo Eurnekian expressed satisfaction with the progress of bilateral cooperation, mutually confirming their readiness for its further development.
