ArmInfo. The Business Angel Network of Armenia (BANA) initiated an online conference dedicated to early stage investments (Early Stage Investment Conference - ESIC).
During the conference, which will take place on September 29, well-known investment specialists invited from different countries will share their experience with Armenian investors and business leaders. In particular, ESIC guests will be Philip Gluntz - co-founder and first president of the Organization of Business Angels of Europe (BAE), who has extensive experience in the areas of Innovation Management, E-commerce, Entrepreneurship, Business Development and Venture Capital; Armen Herlopyan is an investor in the New York Angels venture capital company, the chief responsible for science in the American company Genpact, specializing in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation areas; Ronald Weisman is chairman of Silicon Valley's oldest angel investment organization, the Software group at the Band of Angels, with over 20 years of experience in venture and angel investments.
According to the source, the conference will consist of two parts, in the first of which the speakers will present their experience of angel investments in different regions, and the selected startups will have a unique opportunity to present their ideas to investors.
As part of the second part, which will be open to all representatives of the startup ecosystem, invited speakers will hold an open discussion on the topic "Big changes, great opportunities>, during which participants can get answers to their questions. The conference will be held online at the PINE site (https : //pinetool.ai/), which can be attended by registered startups, investors or individuals interested in investments. Participation in the conference is free and will be held in English.
