ArmInfo. Despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the amount of revenues to the state budget of Armenia in the first 9 months of this year amounted to 1 trillion 16.8 billion drams against the programmed 916.7 billion drams and against 901.6 billion drams for the same period of 2019. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia (SRC) reports this.
According to the report, tax revenues amounted to 916.7 billion drams against 901.6 in January-September last year. The fees of customs authorities amounted to 199 billion drams instead of AMD 266.8 billion comparable in 2019. The amount of return to enterprises in 2019 amounted to 98.9 billion drams, instead of 90.2 billion drams in the same period last year.
It is noted that despite the epidemic, negative economic forecasts, as well as large-scale economic benefits provided to economic entities by the Armenian government, the volume of tax revenues increased. A slightly different is the situation with customs duties, which decreased in 2020 solely due to the lack of large volumes of car imports.
"The State Revenue Committee considers it necessary to once again emphasize the importance of the law- abiding behavior of each business entity, especially in the current situation, when current challenges force us all to unite and build the future of our country with victorious steps," the statement reads.
