The agenda of the upcoming meeting of the EEC Council, at the initiative of Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, will include the issue of excluding a number of countries, including Turkey, from the list of countries-users of the EAEU unified system of tariff preferences. According to the press service of the government, at the moment 103 countries enjoy preferences.
<In accordance with Article 36 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, the EAEU member states provide tariff preferences for goods originating and imported into the customs territory of the Union from developing and least developed countries. The list of countries of the EAEU unified system of tariff preferences was approved by the Decision of the Customs Union Commission in 2009>, the source says.
