Revenue in communications sector of Armenia decreased by 3.9% in 9  months 

ArmInfo. Revenue in the communications sector of Armenia amounted to 105.1 billion drams by October 1, 2020, decreasing in y-o-y terms by 3.9% against 1.3%  growth in the previous year.

According to the RA Statistical Committee, the telecommunications  segment, which accounts for 90.5% of the total communication revenue,  as in the previous year, also showed a 3.9% decline (versus a 2.6%  decline a year earlier), with a revenue of 95.2% billion drams.

According to statistics, on September 2020 alone, the total revenue  of the communications sector decreased by 0.3% - to 12.2 billion  drams. Moreover, the telecommunications segment reduced its revenue  in September by 0.4% - to 11 billion drams.

As a comparison, we note that in January-September 2019 the revenue  of the communication sector in Armenia amounted to 109.4 billion  drams, of which 99 billion drams were from the telecommunications  segments.
