
ArmInfo. The Federation Council on November 18 ratified the protocol on amendments to the cooperation agreement with Armenia. The document concerns the supply of natural gas, oil products and rough natural diamonds.
According to the source, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the ratification of the protocol to the agreement on simplifying the export of Russian oil products to Yerevan, canceling the temporary periodic customs declaration when exporting motor gasoline with an octane rating of less than 95, diesel fuel, fuel for jet engines from Russia to Armenia , heating oil, petroleum liquid paraffin.
The protocol on amending the intergovernmental agreement of states on cooperation in the supply of natural gas, oil products and rough natural diamonds to the Republic of Armenia dated December 2, 2013 was signed in Moscow on April 7, 2020.
As reported by RIA Novosti, the protocol provides for the export of Russian oil products (oil tar) to the territory of Armenia without levying an export customs duty. In addition, the codes of the unified commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union are being updated. Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation reported that in 2020 duty-free supplies of motor gasoline from Russia to Armenia will amount to 155 thousand tons. In addition, 155 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 10.2 thousand tons of fuel for jet engines and 2.2 thousand tons of oil liquid paraffin can be supplied free of duties.
