
ArmInfo.The agenda of the upcoming meeting of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council, which will be held on December 4 via videoconference with the participation of the heads of government of the Union countries, includes 9 issues. Assistant to the Chairperson of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Iya Malkina, announced this during a briefing on December 2.
In particular, she said that the meeting will present changes in the technical regulations on food safety to resolve problems of various interpretations, control the content of medicines in food products of animal origin, including processed food, as well as an action plan to ensure the functioning of a single market for services in the construction industry.
At the same time, according to Malkina, the meeting will present the rules for determining the country of origin of certain types of goods for public procurement purposes. "In the future, this will contribute to the formation of a Eurasian register of industrial goods, for which access to public procurement by the countries of the Union will be open," she said.
In addition, as Malkina said, the heads of government will discuss issues regarding the revision of the list of countries of users of the unified system of tariff preferences of the Union countries.
"The key issues on the agenda will be strategic directions for the development of Eurasian integration until 2025, as well as a list of exemptions and restrictions to be eliminated in 2021 and 2022," Malkina emphasized.
