ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia (SRC) hosted a meeting of the Appeals Commission of Tax and Customs Authorities, during which the complaints of taxpayers regarding the actions or inaction of the tax or customs authorities were considered, as a result of which, in the opinion of the economic entities, unfair decisions were made.
"The results of the 2020 meetings show that the number of decisions made in favor of economic entities has increased. Accordingly, confidence in the State Revenue Committee has grown," the official statement of the SRC says.
In particular, according to the source, in January-November, 1015 complaints from taxpayers were satisfied, which exceeds the indicator of a year ago by 42%. 70 complaints were partially satisfied, 422 were terminated, 682 were rejected, and 4 complaints were suspended.
Karen Tamazyan, head of the inspection department of the organization and control division of the SRC of Armenia, noted that the decisions of the Appeal Commission are made as a result of multilateral studies. "The commission, in addition to making formal decisions, even if complaints are rejected, tries to explain their problems to taxpayers," he said.
