ArmInfo. RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan visited the Arzni breeding poultry farm, where the opening ceremony of a poultry house equipped with modern German equipment of the Hellmann brand took place.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, part of the equipment was purchased within the framework of the state leasing assistance program.
Head of the factory Gegham Janvelyan told the Minister that automated systems of feeding, water supply, ventilation, and egg collection will be used in the poultry house, which will allow to reduce the human factor to a minimum, as well as ensure the integrity and presentation of the eggshell produced. Thanks to the introduction of modern equipment, instead of 22 thousand birds, it became possible to keep 70 thousand heads in the poultry house. He expressed the hope that the use of the latest technologies will increase productivity, maintain food safety standards, reduce the cost of eggs and offer consumers products of higher quality and at the same time at a more affordable price.
Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan noted that the biggest problem of business is the availability of financial resources. "One of the most important missions of the ministry will be to increase the availability of financial resources for business through various channels. We need modern farms that will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the economy outside Armenia, too," he stressed. According to the source, the technical re-equipment of the Arzni poultry farm will continue, and in the near future two poultry houses of the same capacity will be commissioned.
