ArmInfo.Ameribank was recognized as the winner of the Visa payment and settlement system in the Premium Banking Guru and Best Promotional campaign nominations. As the press service of the bank told ArmInfo, this was announced at the annual VISA's NY event.

The Visa payment and settlement system also noted the obvious advantages of Ameria Premium cards, which, in fact, are the client's business card in terms of convenience and a qualitatively new service format. Congratulating Ameriabank on these important achievements, the organizers of the VISA's NY event expressed their hope that in 2021 the projects jointly planned with the bank will turn out to be more extensive and lasting.
According to the 22nd issue of the analytical review "Armenian Banks in the Card Business" prepared by ArmInfo IC, as of October 1, 2020, Ameriabank had about 183 thousand cards, most of which are international with a noticeable dominance of Visa - about 115 thousand cards. Ameriabank is in the TOP-5 by the number of active Visa cards. The bank increased their number in y-o-y terms by 22%, or almost 21 thousand units. In terms of plastic transactions, the bank is in the TOP-3, providing 261.2 billion drams in 9 months of 2020, with an annual growth of 35.2%. Ameriabank is in the top three in terms of the number of its own POS terminals - 2951 units, with an annual growth of 25% or 583 units. Ameriabank is the leader in terms of the volume of online card transactions - over AMD 50 billion in 9 months of 2020 with significant annual growth. The bank issues and services both local ArCa cards and international Visa and MasterCard.
