According to him, according to the results of last year, the economic decline in the country will be about 8.5%, the volumes of import, export and consumption decreased by 20%. "However, my optimism about the economy has not changed. My goal is to ensure double-digit economic growth," the Minister said. He added that steps are being taken to stabilize the economy. The issues on the government's agenda are aimed at unlocking economic potential and creating better conditions for business.
The Minister stressed that, despite the current situation, interest in Armenia is not decreasing. "Almost every day I meet with investors, solving their problems," Keropyan said. He added that recently the issue was resolved with the Ration company, which is engaged in urban development, and intends to invest 100 million drams for the construction of a residential building on Teryan Street in the center of Yerevan.
The Minister stressed that the executive body is doing everything to protect domestic producers, and in this context, he did not rule out the prolongation of the government's decision to ban the import of Turkish products.
