Revenue in the communications sector of Armenia for 11 months of 2020  decreased by 3.4%

ArmInfo.Revenue in the communications sector of Armenia in January-November 2020 amounted to 129.7 billion drams, having decreased by 3.4% year on year (against  0.9% growth a year earlier). This is evidenced by the data of the RA  Statistics Committee.

According to statistics, the lion's share of the total revenue is  provided by the telecommunications sector - 90.8% or 117.8 billion  drams, which is 2.7% less than a year ago.

According to the source, only for November 2020. the total revenue of  the communications sector amounted to 11.6 billion drams, having  decreased by 11.5% over the month. At the same time, the  telecommunications sector provided revenue of 10.6 billion drams in  November, worsening the dynamics for the reporting month to 11%  decline from 8.3% growth in October.

As a comparison, we note that in January-November 2019. the revenue  of the communications sector of Armenia amounted to 134.3 billion  drams, of which 90.2% or 121.1 billion was provided by the  telecommunications sector.
