ArmInfo.The Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies (UE ICT) intends to get involved in the educational programs of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
This was announced at a meeting of Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan with President of UE ICT Armen Baldryan and Executive Director of the Union Eduard Musaelyan.
According to the press service of the department, the guests presented to the Minister the programs implemented by the Union and further plans. "We will try to solve certain problems of the private sector with the help of universities," Musaelyan said. He explained that the new program aims to train students in entrepreneurship skills by giving them a space to work together.
In turn, Arshakyan stressed the importance of implementing such programs in the regions of Armenia. In this regard, he said that about 6 thousand people are involved in various educational initiatives of the ministry, half of whom are residents of the regions. "All of these initiatives stimulate collaboration with private companies. But the primary need to implement such programs is in Kapan and Artsakh," he said.
It is reported that in the near future Minister Arshakyan intends to pay a visit to the Republic of Artsakh to discuss on the spot the possibilities of developing the sector of high technologies.
