ArmInfo.Armenian Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Artashes Tumanyan took part in the opening ceremony of the 14th International Exhibition of Plastics, Rubber, Machinery and Equipment (IRAN PLAST-2021).
As reported by the RA Embassy in Iran, after the opening ceremony, the Armenian Ambassador and accompanying diplomatic staff examined the pavilions of the exhibition and got acquainted with some products, auxiliary materials and services used in the plastic and rubber industry. Opportunities for cooperation with Armenia were discussed with Iranian businessmen.
Note that the 14th International Exhibition of Plastic, Rubber, Machinery and Equipment (IRAN PLAST) of Iran is taking place at the Tehran Exhibition Complex on February 7-10. More than 200 Iranian companies, as well as 250 representatives of foreign companies and businessmen expressed interest in the exhibition. This year's exhibition features four product groups, including raw materials, machinery and equipment, finished products, semi-finished products, and services.
A distinctive feature of this year's exhibition is the presence of knowledge-intensive companies, as well as the online exhibition, which started simultaneously with the physical exhibition on February 7 and will last two weeks. Invitations and information about the virtual exhibition were sent to over 22,000 foreign visitors around the world.
IRAN PLAST is a platform for linking the petrochemical industry with businesses that are thriving in the downstream and downstream industries.
Due to the special conditions caused by the pandemic, only managers, businessmen, scientists and experts were allowed to participate and visit in almost all exhibitions held this year.
