For 2020, a clean influx of private transfers from the United States  jumped, while  those from Russia dropped down

ArmInfo. The growth of the pure inflow of the transfers of individuals to Armenia for 2020s by 14% per annum - up to $ 574.3 million (against 15.5% of the decline a  year earlier) is supported by the driver of the net inflows of  remittances from the United States - 50 times to $ 296.4 million  (against recession by 82% a year earlier).

According to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, the inflow of the transfers of individuals to Armenia from the United States in 2020s accelerated  annual growth from 25.4% to 63.3%, amounting to $ 458.7 million,  while the outflow of translations from Armenia in the United States  from last year's 44% growth went away The decline is 41%, amounting  to $ 162.3 million.

At the same time, the inflow of transfers from Russia to Armenia in  Armenia worsened the dynamics to 21.9% of the decline from 0.6%  growth in 2019, and the outflow of transfers from Armenia to the  Russian Federation, on the contrary, came out of 9.7% of the decline  by 7.9% growth. It worsened the annual dynamics of the pure inflow of  transfers from Russia to 42.1% of the decline in 2020 from 9% of the  growth in 2019. As a result, the volume of the inflow of transfers  from Russia amounted to $ 824.4 million in 2020, and the outflow in  the Russian Federation - $ 459.6 million, which has formed a pure  influx in this direction at $ 364.8 million. The gap between the  inflow and the outflow of transfers in the direction of  Armenia-Russia decreased in five years From 4 to 2 times, while in  the direction of Armenia-USA, this gap increased from 2 to 3 times.

In total, the inflow of the transfers of individuals to Armenia  launched the annual dynamics of 2020 to 6% of the decline from 9.7%  of the growth in 2019, exceeding $ 1.8 billion. A more noticeable  deterioration in the trend was observed and on the outflow of  transfers - turn from 22.4 % of growth by 12.9% recession, the volume  of which was $ 1.3 billion. In the influx of Russia's share decreased  in 2020 to 45% from 54% in 2019 (against 59% in 2018), at the same  time, at the same time, in the outflow from 29 % up to 36% (against  40% in 2018). And the share of the United States in the influx, on  the contrary, increased in an annual context from 14% to 25% (against  13% in 2018), while decreasing in the outflow from 19% to 13%  (against 16% in 2018).  Meanwhile, the December forecast of the  Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia foreshadowed a more tangible  decline in the inflow of private transfers - 19-22%, drawing  attention to the change in the country structure of private  transfers: the abbreviated volume of transfers from Russia is  replenished with monetary translations from the United States and  other countries, presumably due to The growing translations of the  "altruistic" character. And for 2021, the Central Bank of RA predicts  a decline in the pure inflow of private transfers to Armenia by 4-6%,  noting that after unprecedented growth in 2020, the volumes of  rprivate transfers from the United States and other countries  ("altruistic" character), they will decrease in 2021, and Transfers  from Russia to some extent will be restored, due to the expected  economic activity and a certain restoration of labor migrant flows.
