Since the first quarter of 2021, state agencies have appeared on the list of 1000 large taxpayers in Armenia, which transferred to the state treasury a total of about 26 billion drams, or 10% of the total amount (260.2 billion drams) presented in the list of large taxpayers. Among the state agencies in terms of tax deductions to the state treasury, the RA Ministry of Defense is in the lead - 15.1 billion drams (2nd position in the general list), of which 12.8 billion for income tax and 1.99 billion for VAT.
Then comes the National Security Service under the RA government, which ranks 2nd among state agencies, and the 25th in the general list of large taxpayers, which transferred 1.24 billion drams to the budget, of which 1.19 billion was for income tax.
The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia took the 3rd place among state departments, but 30th in the general list of large taxpayers, having transferred 1.2 billion drams to the state treasury, of which 935.7 million for income tax and 33.9 million for profit tax.
The RA Judicial Department is on the 4th place among state agencies, but in the general list of large taxpayers it occupies 70th position with 712.1 million drams deducted to the state budget, of which 607.1 million are for income tax.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia is on the 5th place among state agencies, but in the general list of large taxpayers it occupies 77th position with the allocation of 674.1 million drams to the state budget, of which 637.8 million are for income tax.
