ArmInfo.Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia Ashot Muradyan received Acting Director of the Armenian Office of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) David Hoffman.
As reported by the press service of the tax and customs committee, at the meeting Muradyan presented the main directions of the SRC's activities for the next 5 years as a strategic program for the development and improvement of administration of the department. In particular, increasing the efficiency of tax and customs administration, preventing crime, modernizing infrastructures, providing taxpayer services with improving management systems, strengthening cooperation and trust between taxpayers and the SRC.
David Hoffman, in turn, noted that the Armenian office of USAID has developed a "Strategy for Cooperation in the Development of the Country for 2020-2025", within the framework of which directions of possible cooperation can be discussed.
The parties expressed their readiness to take efficient steps to further expand cooperation between the two bodies.
