Chairman of SCPEC: The price of butter will rise again 

ArmInfo.Experts forecasted an increase in the price of butter, Gegham Gevorgyan, head of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of Armenia,  said in parliament during the preliminary discussion of the annual  report "On the execution of the state budget of the Republic of  Armenia for 2020" on June 2.

According to the head of the State Commission, prices for butter have  risen again on the world market. As of today, the cost of New Zealand  butter has increased from $ 4,000 to $ 6,000. That is, a rise in  price should be expected after two months, he said.

At the same time, as Gevorgyan said, experts forecasted a decrease in  prices already in November this year.

To note,, according to official statistics, vegetable and animal oils  rose in price on an annualized basis by 24.6%, with a rise in price  in March by 4.3%. Moreover, sunflower oil jumped in price on an  annualized basis by 62.2% with a rise in price in March by 8.7%.
