ArmInfo. Aluminum foil production in January-April 2021 decreased by 3.7% per annum (against 12.5% growth a year earlier), amounting to 11.686 thousand tons. This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee.
According to statistics, in April alone, the volume of production of aluminum foil decreased by 7.2% (against the growth of 1.8% in March), amounting to 2.6 thousand tons, which is 7.1% lower than the April volume of 2020.
Note that in 2020, the production of aluminum foil in Armenia increased by 16.2% - up to 35.482 thousand tons (against 7.7% growth in 2019).
According to the RA Customs Service, in 2020 Armenia exported about 35.2 thousand tons of foil, providing a 7.9% growth (against 15.1% growth in 2019). At the same time, the customs value decreased by 0.4% - to $ 94.7 million. Foil was mainly exported to the USA (34.8%), Germany (30.4%), Poland (9.7%), the Netherlands (7.7% ), Italy (4.1%), Spain (3.7%), as well as France, Czech Republic, Hungary, RF.
