
ArmInfo.By 2025, Armenia intends to form a national innovation system. This was announced during a strategic conference held in Dilijan, initiated by the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NCIE) and the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

Gevorgyan emphasized the essential role of innovation in the country's development. In this vein, he noted that there is a need for serious state investments in this area. Speaking about the creation of a national innovation system, Gevorgyan stressed that the system presupposes cooperation and consolidation of efforts of all interested parties, in particular the state, business and educational institutions.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, during the conference, the participants were also presented with programs to stimulate investments, business, and discussed steps to form a national innovation system and a knowledge-based economy. In addition, they touched upon issues related to the development of the intellectual capital of Armenia and the possibilities of improving the working conditions of scientists.
