ArmInfo. Ameriabank is the leading taxpayer among Armenian banks in the first half of 2021. As noted in the message of the bank, this is evidenced by the data of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
The bank transferred to the state budget for the first half of 2021 through taxes a total amount of 5.74 billion drams, which is 83.5% more than in the same period last year. In particular, the bank transferred 3.7 billion drams to the state treasury under the income tax line, also with a significant annual growth. On the list of 1000 largest taxpayers in Armenia, Ameriabank moved up to 12th place from 19th year earlier.
According to the Express Ranking of Banks of Armenia as of June 30, 2021, prepared by ArmInfo IC, Ameriabank summed up the first half of 2021 with a balance sheet profit of 11.7 billion drams ($ 23.6 million), with a 2.1-fold y-o-y growth. Excluding tax transfers, the bank's net profit for the first half of the year amounted to 9.5 billion drams ($ 19.1 million), with a twofold y-o-y growth. The bank's accumulated profit is also leading - 64.7 billion drams ($ 130.5 million) as of June 30, 2021, with an annual growth of 27.4%. The bank's assets amounted to 1.034 trillion drams ($ 2.1 billion), total capital - 119.3 billion drams ($ 240.6 million), loans and other loans - 681 billion drams ($ 1.4 billion), total liabilities - 914.7 billion drams ($ 1.8 billion). The bank maintains leadership in terms of key balance sheet indicators. To note, Ameriabank is a dynamically developing bank, which is one of the most stable and largest financial institutions in Armenia with a clearly formulated digital agenda.
