ArmInfo. Acting Head of the Armenian Ministry of Economy in Georgia will discuss the possibilities of expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

According to the official website of the Armenian government, by the  decision of the acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia  Nikol Pashinyan of July 27, acting Minister of Economy Vahan  Kerobyan, Deputy Minister Avag Avanesyan, Head of the Foreign  Relations Department Armen Ayvazyan will be sent to Georgia (Tbilisi)  on July 29-30 to discuss the possibilities of expanding the bilateral  Armenian- Georgian trade and economic cooperation.

To recall, in September 2018, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka  Bakhtadze, during his visit to Armenia, proposed to increase the  volume of mutual trade turnover to $ 1 billion. Meanwhile, the trade  turnover of Armenia with Georgia in 2020 amounted to $ 129 million  708.5 thousand, which is 12,9% less than in 2019.
