According to the data of the RA State Revenue Committee, in the total volume of payments of 1000 large taxpayers in Armenia, 17 banks account for 5.1%.
The top five banks of taxpayers included Ameriabank, INECOBANK, ACBA Bank, Armbusinessbank and Armeconombank, which in the first half of 2021 sent to the state treasury a total of 17 billion drams (a y-o- y growth of 36.1%), of which 15.3 billion drams - for direct taxes (a y-o-y growth of 31.1%). Ameriabank is leading among banks on the list of large taxpayers in terms of amount of payments, which took the 12th place (against the 21st a year earlier), by sending 5.7 billion drams to the state budget, of which 5.3 billion drams - direct taxes (including income tax and tax on profit). It is followed by: INECOBANK - 21st place (against 53rd a year earlier) - 3.3 billion (including direct taxes - 3.1 billion); ACBA Bank - 25th place (against 23rd a year earlier) - over 3 billion drams, of which 2.5 billion drams are direct taxes; Armbusinessbank - 30th place (against 35th a year earlier) - 2.5 billion, of which 2.3 billion are direct taxes.
