ArmInfo. The five leaders of the list of 1000 large taxpayers in Armenia in total paid 106 billion drams to the budget through taxes, of which 44 billion - in direct taxes (including income tax, profit tax) and 39.5 billion - in indirect taxes (in including VAT, excise tax).
According to the data of the RA State Revenue Committee, in comparison with the volume of a year ago, the five leaders reduced tax payments by 2%, with an annual increase in direct tax payments by 11.8%, and a decrease in indirect tax payments by 13.8%.
At the same time, the TOP-5 accounts for 18.1% of the total volume of taxes paid by 1000 large taxpayers in Armenia, while a year earlier for the same period the share of the top five was 20.2%. The list of the largest taxpayers in Armenia in the first half of 2021 was headed by Gazprom Armenia CJSC, which occupied the 2nd position a year earlier. Tax payments to the budget amounted to 28.4 billion drams, of which 161.4 million drams - for customs duties, 2.5 billion drams - for direct taxes, 25.3 billion drams - for indirect taxes.
Zangezur Molybdenum Combine CJSC moved up to the second position from the third year earlier, having paid AMD 26.8 billion to the state budget, of which AMD 925.1 million in customs duties, AMD 11.8 billion in direct taxes, and AMD 862.7 million in indirect taxes.
For the second year in a row, the apparatus of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has been included in the top 5 in terms of the volume of taxes paid. In particular, according to the results of the first half of 2021, the department took the 3rd position (against the 4th one a year earlier), having paid 25.4 billion drams to the state treasury, of which 20 billion - for direct taxes, 4.6 billion - for indirect taxes.
The Armenian-Canadian JV "Grand Tobacco" moved down to the 4th place from the 1st year earlier, having paid 12.9 billion drams to the state treasury, of which 744.4 million drams - for customs duties, 4.3 billion drams - for direct taxes, 8.3 billion drams - for indirect taxes. The top five in the first half of 2021, as in the previous year, is closed by Geopromining Gold LLC, whose tax payments amounted to 12.4 billion drams, of which 270.2 million drams are for customs duties, 5.2 billion drams - for direct taxes, 293.5 million drams - for indirect taxes. After 5 leaders in the top ten, there are International Masis Tabak (6th position, against 7th a year earlier), Teghut (7th position, against 18th a year earlier), MTS Armenia (8th position , against the 12th year earlier), CPS Oil Corporation (9th position, against 6th a year earlier), oil trader "Flash" (10th position, against 9th a year earlier).
According to the data of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia in the first half of 2021 paid 584.4 billion drams to the state treasury, with an annual growth of 9.3%.
