ArmInfo.In Armenia, the production of aluminum foil in H1 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, decreased by 2.9% (against 13.7% growth a year earlier), amounting to 16.937 thousand tons. This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee.
However, in June alone, according to statistics, production volumes increased by 0.6% - up to 2,850 thousand tons.
To note, in Armenia the production of aluminum foil for 2020 increased by 16.2% (against 7.7% growth in 2019), amounting to 35.482 thousand tons. Thus, the excess of the 30 thousandth milestones was recorded for the third time: for the first time this was observed at the end of 2017 with a volume of 33.724 thousand tons and in 2019 with a volume of 30.547 thousand tons.
