RA Minister of High-tech Industry and Indian Ambassador to Armenia  discussed ways to expand cooperation and implement joint programs

ArmInfo. Minister of High-Tech  Industry of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received Ambassador  Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the  Republic of Armenia Kishan Dan Dewal on August 26.

According to the press service of the Mnistry, Khachaturyan stated  the importance of deepening cooperation with India and congratulated  on the recent Independence Day of India. He stressed the special  attitude of the RA government to relations with India, especially in  the high-tech industry, expecting the establishment of qualitatively  new relations. "Achievements of India in the field of high  technologies, high- tech industry can be very important for the  Republic of Armenia," Vahagn Khachaturyan said.

The Minister presented to the Ambassador the main problems that the  Ministry is working on to resolve in order to restore and develop the  high-tech industry. Vahagn Khachaturyan touched upon India's rich  experience in this area, great potential, as well as opportunities  for expanding cooperation and implementing joint programs.

The Ambassador thanked for the reception, stressed that special  relations have developed with Armenia.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibilities of  deepening cooperation, an agreement was reached on the preparation of  a work program of proposals in a number of areas in the high-tech  industry.  At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Kishan Dan Dewal  invited Minister Vahagn Khachaturyan to India yo meet with  responsible state-private representatives in the field, to get  acquainted on the spot andto reach agreements on further cooperation.
