ArmInfo. Revenue in the communications sector of Armenia in January-July 2021 in comparison with the same period of 2020, grew by 5.1% (against 4.5% decline a year earlier), amounting to 83.6 billion drams. This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee.
According to statistics, the dominating 90.4% of the total revenue was provided by the telecommunications sector - 75.6 billion drams, with a y-o-y growth of 5.3% (against 4.4% decline a year earlier).
Moreover, for July 2021 alone, the total revenue of the communications sector decreased by 0.9% - to 12.6 billion drams. Of these, 11.5 billion drams, with a monthly growth of 4.4%, were provided by the telecommunications sector.
As a comparison, we note that in January-July 2020, the revenue of the communications sector of Armenia amounted to 80.7 billion drams, of which 90.4% or 73 billion drams was provided by the telecommunications sector.
