Mher Grigoryan to discuss agreement on common gas market in EAEU in  Moscow

ArmInfo.The delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia will discuss the agreement and the formation of a common gas market in the EAEU in Moscow.

"Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan,  Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures  Hakob Vardanyan and Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan David  Gevorgyan in charge of the protocol on September 26-28 to send to the  Russian Federation (Moscow) to participate in the discussion of the  draft international agreement on the formation of a common market gas  in the EAEU, which will be held at the level of deputy heads of  governments, "the decision of the Prime 

Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan of September 23  says.  Earlier it was reported that the EAEU countries have begun to  form common markets for gas, oil and oil products. According to the  head of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Mikhail Myasnikovich, the  countries of the Eurasian Union must sign an international agreement  on a common market for oil and oil products by January 1, 2023. 

At the beginning of September this year, Iya Malkina, Assistant to  the Chairperson of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), said that  an agreement on the common gas market in the Eurasian Economic Union  (EAEU) could be signed in 2022. According to her, within the  framework of the common gas market, it will be possible to buy this  energy resource on the exchange. For this, the procedure for exchange  trading in gas will be adopted, which is already being developed  jointly with the governments of the participating countries and  national exchanges. The common gas market is planned to be launched  from 2025.
