According to the head of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Mikhail Myasnikovich, the countries of the Eurasian Union must sign an international agreement on a common market for oil and oil products by January 1, 2023.
At the beginning of September this year, Iya Malkina, Assistant to the Chairperson of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), said that an agreement on the common gas market in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) could be signed in 2022. According to her, within the framework of the common gas market, it will be possible to buy this energy resource on the exchange. For this, the procedure for exchange trading in gas will be adopted, which is already being developed jointly with the governments of the participating countries and national exchanges. The common gas market is planned to be launched from 2025.
