ArmInfo.In January - August 2021, industrial production in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $ 853.9 billion, up 4.5% compared to the same period in 2020. This was reported by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), referring to the data of the express review of the EEC Department of Statistics.
In particular, an increase in industrial production in January-August 2021 was observed in Belarus - by 8.6%, Russia - by 4.5%, Kazakhstan - by 2.4% and Armenia - by 1%, a decrease - in Kyrgyzstan - by 7.3%. The largest growth was noted in water supply, sewerage system, control over the collection and distribution of waste - by 18.9%. Production in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning increased by 7.6%, in manufacturing- by 5.4%, in the mining industry and quarrying in the EAEU - by 1.7%.
Note that according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the volume of industrial production in the country in January-July 2021 to the same period of 2020 accelerated the rate of annual growth from 1.3% to 2.1%, exceeding 1.2 trillion AMD ($ 2.3 billion)
