Armenia and Poland intend to intensify cooperation between startups  of two countries

ArmInfo. Armenia and Poland intend to explore the possibilities of cooperation between the startups of the two countries. To this end, on October 15, the  Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Armenia will  organize a hybrid conference.

The main goal of the event is to study the ecosystem of startups in  Poland and Armenia, simplify cooperation between startups of the two  countries, create business opportunities and a wide partner network.  The target areas of this initiative are the IT sector, including  cyber technologies, start-ups, inventions, benefiting from aspiring  entrepreneurs, community activists, insiders, university labs and  venture capitalists. During the first part of the event, Deputy  Foreign Minister of Poland Marcin Przydacz and Deputy Minister of  High-Tech Industry of of Armenia David Sahakyan will deliver a  speech.

In addition, representatives of the largest start-up centers in  Armenia and Poland will present the working conditions of ecosystems  in their countries. The information they provide will be useful for  startups to prepare for future tenders announced by the Embassy of  the Republic of Poland in Armenia and its partners. The winners of  the tender will have the opportunity to contact representatives of  venture capital funds and negotiate in order to attract funding.

To note,, according to the RA Statistical Committee, the foreign  trade turnover between Armenia and Poland for 8 months of 2021  increased by 35%, amounting to $ 44.1 million. At the same time, high  growth rates were recorded in the export line - by 89.3% with a  volume of $ 15 million. Import of Polish goods to Armenia showed an  increase of 17.6% to $ 29.1 million
