Science funding to increase by 83% in 2022: Draft state budget of  Armenia

ArmInfo.The allocations to education, science, culture and sports will amount to 223.3 billion drams in 2022, or 27.4% more than the target for 2021. Prime Minister  of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this on October 25 in parliament  presenting the draft law "On the state budget of the Republic of  Armenia for 2022".

According to him, the volume of work on the design and construction  of educational institutions will increase. At this stage, 76 schools  and 51 kindergartens are under construction, renovation or overhaul.   In 2022, for financing projects in the field of science in 2022  alone, 83% more will be allocated than in 2021 - in the amount of  25.1 billion drams (about 50 million dollars), allocations for  scientific case studies will increase 2.5 times - up to 6.7 billion  drams.
