ArmInfo. The budget of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia in 2022 will increase by 22.85%, Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan said on November 1 at preliminary budget hearings in parliament.
The allocations of the NSS next year will amount to 42 billion 699 million drams (almost 86.5 million US dollars, the estimated exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar is 493.6 drams. Financing of the NSS this year is budgeted at 34.7 billion drams.
To note, according to the draft state budget for 2022, the consolidated budget in terms of revenues will amount to 2 trillion 005.4 billion drams, and in terms of expenditures - 2 trillion 248.4 billion drams. The deficit will be reduced to 243 billion drams.
