ArmInfo.Allocations to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia in 2022 will increase by 9bln 123mln drams. Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan announced this on November 2 at the joint meetings of the standing committees of the parliament to discuss the draft state budget for 2022.
According to him, the financing of the department (including the costs of maintaining the apparatus) is envisaged by the draft budget for 2022 in the amount of about 17 billion 278.7 million drams. The amount is 89.4% more than the indicator approved by the state budget for the current year in the amount of 8 billion 155 million drams).
Thus, 8 billion 522.2 million drams will be allocated to the program of market development, digitization, and high-tech environment. As a result, within the framework of the grant program grants will be issued to 50 organizations, for 30 beneficiary teams and 150 participants will be implemented an acceleration program, 15 students will take part in retraining programs organized abroad, specialists in the field, about 2500 people, will undergo retraining, procedures and standards for digitization were developed within the framework of the Digitization Strategy.
For targeted scientific and technical research in the field of defense, the financial authorities will allocate funds in the amount of 5 billion 233.9 million drams (about $ 106 million - $ 1 is equal to 493.6 AMD). 2 billion 465.3 million drams are provided for the implementation of the "Providing Telecommunications" program.
