Financing of Ministry of Territorial Administration and  Infrastructures of Armenia will increase by more than a third in 2022

ArmInfo. In 2022, the Armenian authorities will increase funding for the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures by more than a third. Minister of  Finance of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan announced this on November 2 at  the joint meetings of the standing committees of the parliament to  discuss the draft state budget for 2022.

According to him, the financing of the department (including the  costs of maintaining the apparatus) is envisaged by the draft budget  for 2022 at the level of 278 billion 590.1 million drams. The amount  is 66 billion 922 million drams or 31.6% more than the indicator  approved by the state budget for the current year (211 billion 667  million drams).

The funds will be used to implement 22 programs and 129 events. Thus,  30 billion 523.1 million drams will be allocated under the program  for improving the irrigation system, and 1 billion 715.1 million  drams under the Vorotan-Arpa-Sevan water system management program.  The authorities will allocate 4 billion 295.5 million drams for the  implementation of the local development and social investment  program, and 3 billion 735.8 million drams for the solid waste  management program.

Within the framework of the road network improvement program in 2022,  it is planned to allocate 115 billion 177.3 million drams, and 12  billion 357.6 million drams for water supply and sanitation. 23  billion 986.4 million drams will be allocated for urban development,  6 billion 192.7 million drams for the program to improve the seismic  safety of schools.

Within the framework of the territorial development program, funds in  the amount of 83 billion 509.2 million drams are planned, and  subsidies in the amount of 64 billion 340.1 million drams are planned  for the financial equalization of 502 Armenian communities
