In 2022 Armenia plans to increase financing of the economic block of  the government

ArmInfo. In 2022, according to the draft state budget, allocations to all state structures of the financial and economic block of the government will be increased.

So, as the Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan said on  November 2 at the joint meetings of the standing committees of the  parliament to discuss the draft state budget for 2022, the Urban  Development Committee in 2022 will receive 43.8% more than the  indicator approved by the state budget for the current year. In  particular, allocations for the implementation of 1 program and 5  activities will amount to 1 billion 585.1 million drams, or 482.8  million drams more than the state budget for the current year in the  amount of 1 billion 102 million drams. The expenses for the  maintenance of the administrative staff will amount to 589.3 million  drams. Within the framework of the programs implemented by the  department, the construction of a residential area in the border  Shurnukh of the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia will  continue.

Funding of the Cadastre Committee for the implementation of 1 program  and 7 activities by the draft budget for 2022 is provided in the  amount of 4 billion 997.4 million drams (including the cost of  maintaining the apparatus). The amount is 352 million drams or 7.6%  higher than the figure for 2021 (in the amount of 4 billion 645  million drams).

The Public Broadcaster Council in 2022 claims funds in the amount of  7 billion 634.7 million AMD. Thus, the financing of the structure  from 7 billion 051.2 million drams will grow by 583.5 million drams.   The Public Services Regulatory Commission will receive 850.9 million  drams from the state treasury for the implementation of 1 program and  two events in 2022. The growth in comparison with the indicator  approved for 2021 will be 1.6% (837.6 million drams).

The budget of the Commission for the Protection of Economic  Competition for the implementation of 1 program and 1 event will make  544.3 million drams, against 541.8 million drams for the current  year.  Thus, the budget of the antimonopoly department will grow  insignificantly - by only 0.45%.  In 2022, the State Revenue  Committee will receive 33 billion 802 million drams from the state  treasury for the implementation of 1 program and 11 measures, instead  of 32 billion 505 million drams in 2021. The growth will amount to  about 1 billion 300 million drams or 4%.

For the implementation of 4 programs and 15 events, the Ministry of  Finance of Armenia will receive 218.4 billion drams. In 2021,  according to the state budget approved for the current year, the  department provides funding in the amount of 199.1 billion drams or  19.4 billion drams (about 9.8%) less.  To recall, the day before, the  head of the Ministry of Finance presented the budget of the Ministry  of Emergency Situations, the Police and the National Security Service  of the Republic of Armenia for 2022.  The planned allocations to the  financial and economic block of the government were presented today.  For today, the only department for which the financial authorities  plan to cut the budget for next year is the Ministry of Emergencies.

It should be noted that according to the jet project for 2022, the  revenues of the state treasury of Armenia, compared with the approved  state budget for 2021, will increase by about 437 billion drams, or  28.9%, expenses - by 18.2% or 337.5 billion drams. Thus, expenditures  will reach 2 trillion 188.4 billion drams, of which 1 trillion 841.9  billion drams or 23.4% of GDP will be directed to cover current  expenses. The GDP deflator will grow by 4.6% (6.8% at the end of  2021), 12-month inflation - 5.2% (7.4% is expected by the end of this  year), and average inflation will reach in 2022 5 , 6% (7% expected   in 2021).
