Armenia`s membership fees to international organizations will amount  to 2 billion 295 million drams in 2022

ArmInfo.The budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia (including the cost of maintaining the administrative staff) will grow by about 2% in 2022.  Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan  announced this on November 4 at the preliminary hearings of the draft  state budget of the Republic of Armenia at the joint meeting of the  standing committees of the parliament.

According to him, the draft state budget for the next year will  allocate about 412 million or 2.26% more funds to the foreign  ministry than was approved by the law "On the state budget of the  Republic of Armenia for 2021" - from 18 billion 240 million drams to  18 billion 653.1 million drams. Funds will be provided for the  implementation of 5 programs with 8 activities.

In particular, the expenses for the maintenance of the office will  amount to 1 billion 930.6 million drams (76.2% of these funds are the  salary fund), the document provides 1 billion 953.4 million drams for  the development and implementation of the government's foreign  policy. Within the framework of the program of cooperation with  international organizations (payments for membership), 4.47% more  will be allocated next year - from 2 billion 197 million drams to 2  billion 295.3 million drams (of which about 200 thousand euros of  debts accumulated for the previous years). Armenia is a member of 106  organizations and platforms. Expenses for protocol events will amount  to 185 million 998 thousand drams.

To recall, according to the draft budget for 2022, state treasury  revenues will amount to about 1 trillion 946.2 billion drams, and  expenditures - 2 trillion 189.2 billion drams, and the deficit will  be at the level of 243 billion drams. Thus, in 2022, the revenues of  the state treasury of Armenia, compared with the approved state  budget for 2021, will grow by about 437 billion drams, or 28.9%,  expenses - by 18.2% or 338 billion drams.
