The dynamics are due to the continuing downtrend in the  manufacturing sector and the slowdown in the growth rate of the  mining industry. This is evidenced by the data of the Statistical  Committee of the Republic of Armenia, according to which in September  2021 alone, the volume of industrial production accelerated the  growth to 5.9% from 0.6% in August, ensuring the volume of 206.5  billion drams ($ 423.1 million).

In January-September 2021 to the same period 2020,  a slowdown in  growth was recorded in the mining industry and the development of  open pits to 0.1% (from 16.7% a year earlier), providing 441.5  billion drams.
