ArmInfo. The revenue of the textile industry in Armenia increased in January-September 2021 compared to the same period in 2020 2.3-fold (against a 39.5% decline a year earlier), amounting to 1.3 billion drams. As evidenced by the data of the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, such dynamics is due to a tangible increase in the production of fabrics and bed linen.

An upward trend, but noticeably modest, was also registered in the production of tights, leggings, socks and other hosiery - by 1.5% to 16,313.3 thousand pairs.
A decrease in volumes was observed in the production of carpets and rugs - by 59.3% to 2.4 tons.
