ArmInfo. The newly formed FLYONE ARMENIA announces that it has received identification codes from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) on November 12 and November 15, 2021.
This allows the airline to carry out sales, service and provision of safe, efficient international air transportation, in accordance with international standards established by ICAO and IATA.
"We are pleased that with the receipt of the ICAO and IATA codes, we have come even closer to our goal - the ability to provide safe, affordable and high- quality services for both Armenian citizens and tourists. I think that soon our passengers will be able to use the FLYONE ARMENIA quality service standards, " Mircea Maleca, the company's General Manager, said. The airline's fleet consists of Airbus A320 aircraf. Each aircraft has 180 seats and meets all International Air Transport Association (IATA) and EASA safety standards. Also, in pandemic conditions, the aircraft is equipped with HEPA air filters, which remove 99.97% of viruses and bacteria. In the near future, the airline will start selling tickets and plans to operate flights from the Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport.
