
ArmInfo.Armenia and Serbia have identified areas of economic cooperation. This became known during a meeting between Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan and Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Serbia in Armenia Tatjana Panajotovic Cvetkovic.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan noted the need to expand mutually beneficial relations in the economic sector. The Minister stressed that the Armenian- Serbian economic relations have a great potential for expansion and proposed to outline the main directions in which it would be more expedient to develop cooperation.
In this regard, he singled out the sectors of light and heavy industry, agriculture, solar energy, IT and high technologies, mechanical engineering, jewelry, pharmaceuticals.
Kerobyan presented to the guest the economic priorities of the Armenian government, priority sectors of the economy and current state support programs.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
