Estonia stands ready to expand cooperation areas with Armenia in high  technologies

Estonia stands ready to expand areas of cooperation with Armenia in the field of high technologies and open up new opportunities for cooperation.   Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Armenia  Rina Kalyurand stated this during a meeting with Minister of  High-Tech Industry of Armenia Vahagn Khachatryan on December 13.

According to the press service of the department, during the meeting  the parties discussed the possibilities of developing cooperation in  the sectors of e-government, technological education, information  technology. 

An agreement was reached to form a working group of specialized  specialists representing the two countries, draw up a roadmap and  develop a plan for further actions.

Minister Khachatryan noted the importance of exchange of experience  in this area, in particular, the possibility of practical  consultation of Estonian specialists, expansion of cooperation.  Touching upon the success of Estonia in the field of high  technologies and liberalization of the economy, he noted that the  Estonian experience may be an example for Armenia.
