In summing up each year's results, the Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX) and the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) award the most active securities market participants, the winners in individual categories, the AMX press service told ArmInfo. Ameriabank has been awarded the Grand Prix as the "Best AMX partner". The bank is winner in five other categories as well.
New categories have been introduced this year.
Specifically, Ardshinbank is the winner in the new category "Best innovation member" for corporate listing of Eurobonds, and Unibank is the winner in the same category for stock listing on Moscow Exchange. Along with the favorable market changes, more new categories will be introduced.
The following securities market participants have been recognized the best AMX members, accountable issuers and winners in the following 2021 competition categories:
- Ameriabank in the "Best exchange member in corporate bond market" and "Best corporate securities market-maker" categories;
- Ameriabank in the "Best exchange member in government bond market" and "Best accountable issuer of bonds in circulation in corporate securities market" categories;
- Armeconombank in the "Best accountable issuer of bonds in circulation in corporate securities market" category;
- Armbroke OJSC in the ""Best exchange member, most active participant in REPOs" category;
- Ardshinbank and Unibank in the "Best innovation member" category;
- Artashes Poghosyan and the VTB Bank Armenia in the "Best bidder-partner" category; Among the best AMX and CDA members and partners are:
- Armbroke OJSC in the "Best account operator and cusdotian for the depository system in corporate bond market" category;
- Ameriabank in the "Best account operator and record keeper in depository system" and "Best member of the integrated securities registration and settlement system" category;
- Araratbank in the "Best member of settlement system of regulated market" category;
- Gayane Arzumanyan (Dimension CJSC) in the "Best staff member of member-company of integrated registration and settlement securities system" category;
AMX in the only operator of Armenia's regulated securities market. Its mission is developing the exchange structure of the capital market and transforming it into an active instrument for funding Armenia's economic development.
