Telecommunications revenue of Armenia increased by 4.5% in 11 months

ArmInfo.Revenue in the communications sector of Armenia in January-November 2021 amounted to 133.7 billion drams, having increased on a y-o-y terms basis 4.5%  (against a 3.4% decline in the previous year). This is evidenced by  the data of the RA Statistical Committee.

According to statistics, the lion's share of the total revenue is  provided by the telecommunications sector - 90.5% or 121.1 billion  drams, which is 4.4% more than a year ago.

According to the source, in November 2021 alone, the total revenue of  the communications sector amounted to 12.4 billion drams, having  decreased by 1.9% over the month. At the same time, the  telecommunications sector provided revenue of 11.1 billion drams in  November, with a decline of 2.3%.

As a comparison, we note that in January-November 2020, the revenue  of the communications sector of Armenia amounted to 129.7 billion  drams, of which 90.8% or 117.8 billion was provided by the  telecommunications sector.
